One of the functions of the Volunteer Management Team is to serve as an oversight body. It is a part of our job to make sure that the day to day operations of the organization are running smoothly and then report back to the MLPD Provincial Council as well as to our general membership.

We are pleased to report that the day to day operations are running smoothly. Our financial situation is once again stable. The Management Team has been hard at work raising our profile in the community. Through letters to the editor, conferences and workshops, public forums, our voice is once again being heard in the halls of government.

Our office manager, Josie, recently celebrated 31 years for the MLPD. Congratulations Josie! In November of last year the MLPD hired Libby Zdriluk as our Administrative and Resource Support Staff. She will be assisting Josie and Council with the day to day operations of the MLPD. Welcome aboard.
