Barriers to the Re-Employment of Injured Workers with Significant Disabilities in Manitoba

From March 1999 to August 2000, the Workers with Disabilities Project conducted a study of the post-injury vocational rehabilitation and re-employment experiences of injured workers with disabilities in Manitoba (Canada). The study describes barriers to re-employment encountered by a diverse sample of 34 injured workers with disabilities, and provides 46 recommendations addressing those barriers.
